It's the year of the poem
For Aunt Pam, too.
She's 57 today
But looks 32!!
She's a wife and a mom,
A mimi and sis.
A daughter, an auntie.
(Has it been total bliss?)
She's a guardian angel
For a ka-zillion pets,
And the children she teaches.
(Oh, the pleasure she gets!)
She loves teaching so
That she's counting the days,
Til she can retire
And have fun and play(s?).
3 more years, trust me
And take my advice.
You'll start thinking in rhymes,
But retirement is nice!
Help me sing Happy Birthday
To my dear sis-in-law.
Let's sing it on key
So it's not way too blah....
